Margaret Irene Farrington

Age 103, passed away at her home in Rio Rancho, NM Sunday, July 20, 2014. Margaret was born July 17, 1911 in Danville, VA, the second eldest of 8 brothers and sisters. She also lived in Martinsville, VA and later moved to Cincinnati, OH, where she married Charles W. Farrington in 1936. They had 2 children; Charles G. Farrington with his wife Cindy, now living in Albuquerque and Charlene F. Kennedy of Rio Rancho. She has 2 granddaughters. Jacqueline and Susanne Farrington the former lives in Cedar Rapids, IA and the latter in Albuquerque, NM. Margaret has also lived in Milwaukee, WI, Escondido and Carlsbad, CA, as well as her last 12 years in Rio Rancho. Margaret loved to travel and has been to most states in the US. She was an avid reader, liked to sew, knit and crochet. But most of all she loved her immediate and extended family. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in her name. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Cincinnati, OH.
