My beautiful wife, Margaret Ann Bobb, was called upon for her eternal dog rescue on November 1, 2018. She has left us at the much too young age of 53. She was born on January 31, 1965 in Albuquerque to Bill and Gladys Pierson. Margaret was the 7th of 8 Pierson kids. Her love of dogs began at an early age and would remain with her throughout her entire life. She leaves behind an incredible legacy in the rescue world, namely the "FIX THE 505" spay/neuter program which she started through PACA/AAR. She had been involved with PACA/AAR since 1993.
Margaret spent 38 years battling more medical issues than any one individual should have to. You would never have known it though as she never talked of her struggles. She was a 1983 graduate of Eldorado High School, having also attended Sandia and Los Alamos High Schools. She had worked full-time as a PT Tech at Medical Arts Physical Therapy from 1987 until its closing in the mid 90's. She attended UNM and CNM part-time pursuing a degree in education while working full-time and maintaining our household. She amazed me every day! She changed her major to accounting, and eventually earned her accounting degree in 2005. She also earned a certificate in bookkeeping along the way. Oh, and did I mention she was basically working full-time as a rescuer this whole time as well. She took a job with a local home security company in the accounting department, and within three months was offered the job as Accounting Manager when one left. She accepted it briefly but decided to resign the position as we had begun the process of adopting our daughter, Espie. She wanted to be a full-time mom!!! Espie was eight at the time and was definitely a full-time job. Also forgetting to mention that she had done five years of dialysis due to kidney failure from LUPUS. She received a kidney transplant in May of 2004 (we are forever grateful to Jan Walner, a friend of Marg's sister, Lucy, for this selfless act). Marg worked tirelessly doting over Espie, volunteering at school, and continuing her constant involvement with PACA. I had it easy as all I did was work and coach softball. She eventually took on more and more with PACA, doing adoption clinics, fundraising, adoption contracts, donor lists, microchips, newsletters, thank yous, etc., etc. She was incredibly passionate about the dog rescue and would continue to be until her last day.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who would do anything within her power for anybody. Left here on earth to miss her are her loving husband of 29 years, Heath; cherished daughter, Espie; family dogs, Pippy, Tatertott, Peaches and Turbo; father and stepmother, Bill and Doris; mother, Gladys; mother-in-law, Jean; sisters, Christine, Lucy and Sandra; brothers, Dave and Tom; foster parents, Jerry and Norma Morgan and their family; brother and sisters-in-law. Kevin, Jubal, Cindy and Susan. Nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Jamie, Joel, Jessica, Shelby, Landon, Quinton, Cameron, Spencer, Matthew, Kimmie, Will, Adam, Logun, Daniellea, Brayden and Emma. Long-time friends, Deb S., Robin, Rosalie, Kim, Ginger and Deb A. Special "work" families from MAPT and PACA are also left here to miss her.
Those embracing her on her entry to heaven are her Grandma and Grandpa Pierson and Grandma and Grandpa Scott; sister, Linda; brother, Albert; father-in-law, Dale; Grandma and Grandpa-in-law Bobb and Grandma and Grandpa-in-law Heath. Most of all waiting to greet her were passed family and rescue dogs that number in the hundreds. Most notably are Sparkle, Igloo, Barfy, Spoogie, Spanky, Chewy, Allie, Zellie, Dusty, Buffy, Jake, Dillon and Marley.
A viewing will be held at FRENCH – Wyoming, Wednesday, November 7, from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, January 31, 2019, at a to-be-determined location. Those wishing to help carry on her legacy, please do so by making a donation in her name to:

Thank you all for loving and caring for my beloved Margaret Ann!!!!!
I was rookie league, she was a major league all-star. I always thought that she was out of my league. I'm not sure why she chose me, but I'm forever grateful that she did.
God bless each and every one of you!!!!!
