Marcella C. "Marcy" Ortega

Marcella "Marcy" C. Ortega, 82, lifelong resident of Albuquerque and beloved mother and nana entered into the gates of heaven on May 10, 2015 with family by her side. She is survived by her children, Linda Ortega, Gerri Ortega-Balogh and husband, Tom, Charlotte Ortega, Eileen Ortega-Scipes and husband, Greg, Pearl Ortega-Brazil and husband, Emilio, Roberta Ortega-Robar and husband, Jo, and Robert A. Ortega Jr.; thirteen grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert A. Ortega, Sr. Marcy was beloved by all who had the honor of knowing her. She touched the lives of many throughout her life and treated all children as if they were her own. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in a private family ceremony.
