Marcella Boyle Davey

Marcella Boyle Davey, 95, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1981, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She is survived by her children, Robert Davey and his wife, Linda of Placitas, NM; Alicia Schumacher and her husband, Michael, of Beulah, Colorado; and Cecelia Davey of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Lauren Davey of San Diego, California; Tanya Van Wagenen of Pueblo, Colorado; Jonathan Davey and his wife, Emily of Washington, DC; Ryan Van Wagenen of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Hannah Davey of New York City, NY; and Katherine Davey of San Francisco, California; great-grandchildren, Ava Escobado of Pueblo, Colorado ; Austin Davey of Washington, DC; nephews, nieces and friends. Mrs. Davey was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond John Davey. Marcella Boyle Davey, having been educated at The College of New Rochelle and St. John's University, became a teacher for the New York City Public School System. After retirement Marcella became an active volunteer with Presbyterian Hospital, St. Bernadette's and various other political organizations. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 7:00 PM, at French, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at a later time in Beulah, Colorado.
