Marcel A. Roetheli, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in San Antonio, TX.
He was born on June 5, 1926 in Switzerland to Albert S. and Ida Roetheli. Marcel was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM and a 35 Year Veteran of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Worker Union. He was a long time member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He also held a Private Pilot’s License and flew many different types of aircraft.
He was preceded in death by, his parents; his beloved wife, Liliane; and son, Jacques Marcel. He is survived by his son, Michael C. Roetheli and wife, Sherrie of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Alyssa and Caitlin Roetheli of Austin, TX; and many family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, August 18, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. Interment will follow the service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
