Marceau DiJon Fields passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the young age of 28. Marceau was born in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, January 11, 1993. He moved with his family to New Mexico when he was a young child, and Albuquerque became his home. He graduated from The Learning Community Charter School and attended Central New Mexico Community College.

Marceau DiJon Fields was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. To those who knew him, he was a bright star in our world, whose light could never be dimmed. His bright, loving presence will always be cherished and remembered. The positivity he gave and encouraged will live through us all. Marceau used to say, "Give even if you have nothing to give, someone always has less than you."

He is survived by his parents Myra and Laszlo Makai, sisters Jaelyn R. Fields and Vierra K. Makai, daughter EnAsia D. Casaus and his biological father Darnell Fields. He is preceded by his great-grandparents Onemus and Kathrine Harrison, grandparents Stanley and Monica Harrison, and one of his best friends Joseph E. Lovato. May he join them in his new journey and watch over us all. A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, 4:00 p.m. followed by a service at 5:00 p.m. For those unable to attend the Service it will be livestreamed and available to view below.
