Marc Steven Todd

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Todd on December 16, 2024, at the early age of 72. He died in his home surrounded by his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, Marc leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and selfless dedication.
Marc was born on July 8, 1952, in Tacoma, Washington to Bruce and Rosella Todd. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970. In 1975 he married his loving partner, Sharon, and they enjoyed almost 50 years together. Their marriage was a testament to unwavering love and commitment. Together, they created a nurturing and joyous home filled with laughter, support, and countless cherished memories for their children, Aaron and Alison. He was a deeply involved father who poured his heart into every aspect of his children's lives. Whether it was attending school events or passionately supporting their sporting endeavors, he was always present, cheering them on and celebrating their achievements. His boundless love extended to his two granddaughters, whom he helped raise with the same devotion and care that defined his role as a father.
Marc will be remembered for his passion for all sports, but especially baseball and golf. As the owner of a treasured local baseball card shop in Tacoma, he cultivated a space where fans of all ages could come together, share stories and celebrate their love of the game. His involvement went beyond business; as a coach and active participant in local teams, he inspired and mentored several, leaving an indelible mark on countless young athletes. Most recently, he especially loved watching his granddaughters, Anabelle and Zoey play soccer.
Marc was committed to a clean and healthy lifestyle. He made choices that reflected his values, always keeping active. After moving to New Mexico in 1997, he fell in love with the Sandia Mountains and enjoyed hiking and biking on a regular basis. He loved playing golf with Sharon and with his brothers whenever they got together.
Marc was a kind person with a caring nature. He had a sense of humor and unwavering support for those he loved. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Todd; his children, Aaron Todd and Alison Gray; his daughter- and son-in-law, Rowena Todd and Jerrad Gray; his two cherished granddaughters, Anabelle Todd and Zoey Todd; his three brothers, Gregory (Nancy), Christopher (Michelle) and Andrew Todd; and countless family and friends whose lives he touched.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support during this difficult time. Marc will forever remain in our hearts as a shining example of love, generosity and kindness.
