December 12, 1961 — January 11, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Manuel Luera who died on January 11th, 2025 at the age of 63. Carmelita, his wife of 46 years was right by his side during his final moments. He was a devoted husband to Carmelita. A loving father, to his two sons and daughters in-law: Manny (Marilee) Luera, Eddie Gerone (Julie) Luera. He was a cherished gramps to his grandchildren Ashton, Esai, Maddux and Mateo. A supportive brother to his surviving sisters Birdie (Bobby) Young and Paula Martinez. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Luera Sr & Bertha E Gonzales, and sister Genoveva Luera.

Manuel was known for his passion, intelligence, sense of humor, work ethic, and selflessness. As a massage therapist for over 30 years, he helped countless people with his unique abilities to heal.

With a fondness for the cowboy way of life, Manuel loved training and riding horses for many years. Among many of his talents, he loved to play guitar and sing for friends and family. A man with a huge heart, he was an unforgettable soul that will be missed very much by all those that were lucky enough to have him be a part of their lives.
