MALITZ, MAMIE ELIZABETH BEEAge 91, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 23, 2012. She is survived by three sons, Charles C. Malitz III and wife Carol of Ft Worth, TX, Brian E. Malitz and wife Nancy of The Dalles, OR, Richard E. Malitz of Albuquerque, two grandchildren, Leslie Anne Vukosovich and husband Bob of Hollywood, CA, Benjamin Malitz of Portland, OR and many other family and friends. Mrs. Malitz was preceded in death by her husband Col. Charles C. Malitz J. USAF (Retired); her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Sessions and her beloved Dachsunds. Bee and Charlie were members of Christ Lutheran Church. Born in Natchez, MS, she moved to Beaumont, TX with her mother, brother and sister where she met and married Charlie at the outbreak of World War II. Bee and the "Colonel" were married for 68 years. They lived in over 10 different US Military installations before settling in Albuquerque in 1970 after Col. Malitz retired with 30 years of service. Bee devoted herself to being a helpmate to her Air Force pilot husband and to shepherding her "3 boys" whom all received Bachelors and Masters Degrees. She also enjoyed painting and her garden. To remember her life and faith a small service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at French Funerals, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, with Pastor Neal Groeling officiating. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
