Major C. Herrera

Maj Herrera - Marc "Cheech" C. Herrera, 37, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012. He is survived by his wife Amy; parents Marian and Steve Herrera; grand parents, Alice and Chuck Herrera and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Cheech was a 1996 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy who served as a pilot his entire career. He loved to play hockey and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Services will be held on July 6, 2012, 11:00 am at First Unitarian Church of Albuquerque, 3701 Carlisle Blvd. NE. Friends may visit at the church one hour prior to the service. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to any local animal shelter or Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central New Mexico.
