Major D. Ogle U.S. (Ret.) Army

OGLE, MAJOR JOHN D. OGLE (US ARMY RET.)Age 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, July 19, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gwen Ogle; sons, Kirk D. Olge, Rory J. Ogle; grandson, John E.S. Ogle and two cats. Major Ogle was preceded in death by his father, Clair E. Ogle; mother, Mildred Alice Ogle and his brother, Richard James Ogle. John was a long-time member and volunteer for the New Mexico Republican Party. He also faithfully served his country worldwide in the United States Army for over twenty years. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at French - Lomas with a reception to follow. Interment will take place later that afternoon at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. along with United States Army Honors. Friends may visit one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 9:00 a.m..
