Maire Elilzabeth Donovan Reed

Born Boone, Iowa to Francis and Estella Donovan. Graduated HS in1943 Boone high school. She married Charles J. Reed (deceased) on March 4, 1946. Her siblings included Edward D, deceased, James F and Karen Donovan, Robert J. deceased, and Patricia McDonald. Maire is survived by children Timothy C. Reed, Daniel F and Kristian Reed, Thomas J. and Jeanette Reed, Margaret M. Reed, Patrick D. Reed, deceased, Joseph M. and Carmen Reed; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She lived in Corrales, NM since 1960 and was a Member of Catholic Daughters, Irish American Society, proud of her Irish/Swedish Heritage. Maire worked in various jobs including Citizen National Bank in Boone, Fedway in Albuquerque, Sandoval County Assessors Office, Real Estate, designed adobe houses which she and Chuck built, Village of Corrales Clerk/Treasurer under Mayors Barbara Christianson, Tommy Gentry and Ann Dunlap, deputized by Benjie Torres back in the day. A family wake will take place at the family home, 150 Reed Lane, Corrales, NM 87048 on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Road, Corrales, NM 87048, burial will follow at San Ysidro Cemetery.
