Macario was born on March 13, 1921 in Albuquerque, NM. He was raised on a ranch in Escobasa, NM. He was predeceased by his parents, Lecadio Ramon Rael and Adela J. Griego and his wife, Ruby H. Rael. He is survived by his son, Steve Rael and his wife, Karla from Corpus Christi, TX; daughter, Maria Elena Rael; grandsons; Tony Campbell and wife, Lynda from Rio Rancho, NM, Jim Campbell and wife, Sherri from Mansfield, TX and John Campbell form T or C, NM; 5 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson and a beloved niece, Viola Olivas and husband, Jim from Albuquerque. Growing up he loved to play sports especially baseball. Macario had a long career in the trucking industry and received numerous Driver Safety Awards. He was very proud of his achievements. Macario met his wife, Ruby here in Albuquerque. She worked for the Sandia Labs Draft Department. In 1962 they were married. They loved traveling around the world together. Mac and Ruby visited five of the seven continents! Macario loved his family. Cremation has taken place and Macario and Ruby have been laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park Rose Garden.
