M. Arlyn Elmer

ELMER, M. Arlyn Age 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1993, formerly of Elgin, Illinois, passed away on December 24, 2013. Survived by wife of 55 years Martha; children Theresa (Jeff) Ahle, Craig (Mary Pat) Elmer, Randal (Stephanie) Elmer and Candace (Nigel) Sargent. Grandchildren Kevin Ahle, Brooke Elmer, Cassidy Elmer and Andrew Sargent. One sister Shila (Dave) Froehlich. Arlyn was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Leila Elmer and grandson Ryan Ahle. He graduated with a Degree in Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He retired after 35 years of employment as a Civil Engineer with Il Dept. of Transportation. He enjoyed biking, hiking, skiing, traveling and woodcarving at Los Volcanes Senior Center. There will be no services, per his request. Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association.
