Lynn Briggs

Lynn Ann Mundy Briggs was born December 9th, 1948 to Radford and Irene Mundy.

Lynn is a resident "Alien" born and raised in Roswell New Mexico. There she met her military man, Terry Briggs, who was stationed at the AirForce base in Roswell. They got married within 3 quick months of Terry being transferred to California and have been married for 57 blessed years. They settled in Colorado with 2 children, Chad & Shawn, and Lynn worked for Hewlett Packard, then became a School Bus driver for at least a decade. Lynn and Terry became members of The Salvation Army in Colo. Springs where Lynn then became an active Salvationist. Of course, her Christian faith grew and became a steadfast part of her daily life. Her and the family then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Lynn worked for The Salvation Army as an Accounts Payable clerk. But she did take a break from the Salvation Army work, and also became a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed helping seniors and also helping with the Community Cares ministry of the Salvation Army. After a time, Lynn was asked to come back to The Salvation Army where she retired after putting in 20 years. Her final years included supporting the grandchildren's activities, travelling in her motorhome, metal detecting, camping, visiting nursing homes, and lots of other stuff. She loved her Lord Jesus dearly and became a strong prayer warrior in her last years. Lynn is now basking in His Light. She died December 10th, the day after her 76th Birthday. Lynn is survived by her husband, and her spirit continues on in her 2 children, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
