Lynette Joy (VanderWoude) Bulten

Lynette Bulten, 58, beloved Mother, Friend, and Daughter, passed away on September 16, 2021. She was born on December 23, 1962 in Oak Lawn, IL, to Roger and Josephine VanderWoude. Lynn is survived by her son, Caleb, and daughter, Jodilyn Bulten. She would often say she was most proud of her two children and the opportunity to raise them. Everything she did in life was to support her children and she would do anything for them. Lynn worked as a teacher for 25+ years, reaching students in private and public schools, homeschooling her own kids, and eventually in special education. She was never happier than when she got to employ her creative gifts and ideas to impact the people in her life. Lynn was the ultimate fun-loving and driven encourager who would always proudly out cheer, out dance, or embarrass anyone with her enthusiasm.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, 5:00 pm. at FRENCH-Wyoming. In honor Lynn's fun-loving spirit, Jodilyn and Caleb ask anyone who is able to wear a fun hat to the memorial service. To view the service online, please click HERE .
