Lydia Ann Adams went to Heaven at the age of 76 on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Our momma was a lot of things, some traits that come to mind are: strong, intelligent, affectionate, beautiful, courteous, silly, organized, and being full of life. We especially enjoyed her soft touch, gentle kisses, comforting smiles, affectionate hugs, and non-judgmental way of listening and responding to whatever was being presented to her. She embodied acceptance and non-judgment of others. She showed us kids how to truly accept and embrace others for who and where they are in life.
She lived many different lifestyles because of her natural sense of curiosity and her unwavering resolve to live her life based on her terms; she lived unapologetically her truest self. These brave choices are what made Chana, Nathan, Lela, and all her beautiful grandbabies.
She will always be remembered for her love of: traveling, beaches and the sounds of the waves, going to the casino, doing puzzles, watching the San Francisco 49ers, and most of all, spending time with her loved ones. She loved all her family: her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Although our hearts break, we find comfort in knowing our momma was in a place of peace, her heart was over flowing with love; our momma was truly happy with where she was at in life. We are so incredibly grateful for the time we all had with her. She will be deeply missed by so many. We promise to honor your memory and continue to make you proud. We "Love you More" Momma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dan and Syria Burrola, and brother Stanley "Rick" Valdez. She is survived by her 3 siblings Lindell and spouse Pete Chavez, David and spouse Stephanie Burrola, and Denise and spouse Ralph Buchner; 3 children Chana Adams, Nathan Monk and partner Marlene Marquez, Lela and spouse Stefan Ford; 7 grandchildren Lavontrae Wells, Johlil Wells, Aaliyah Wells, Solomyn Jenkins, Malik Monk, Layla Monk, and Chanel Ford.
