Lucy A. Bunnell

Lucy Lucero Bunnell, age 88, winged its way to her Heavenly Father on October 23, 2018.

Born in Chromo, CO October 15, 1930.  Her parents were ranchers in Lumberton, NM where she went to catholic school for 12 years and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1949 where she attended college.  She met Darl Bunnell and married in 1951 in Albuquerque, NM at St. Charles Catholic Church.  Darl was in the military and they had three daughters.

She is survived by her husband, Darl; daughters, Carmela, Darla and husband Ray; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Frank; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Vicenta Lucero; three sisters; one brother; daughter, Yvonne Didde; great grandson, Zane Fisher; and son-in-law, Steve Francis.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 30, 2018, 10:30 a.m. before the Mass, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee.  Interment will follow the services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
