Lucille Hayden

Age 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, passed into the arms of Jesus Saturday, April 13, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Robert and fiancée Jerilyn, Edward, and John and wife, Melba; daughters, Susan Baca and husband, Jude, and Linda Topmiller and husband, James; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; caretaker, Shelley Nunez; and numerous other relatives and friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis B. Hayden in 2000; parents, F. Guy and Mayme Sherrard; two grandchildren, Melissa Ann Baca and Jude Baca, Jr.; three brothers; and one sister. She was born in Hodgenville, KY in May, 1921 and lived all over the world as an Army wife. She was a house hunter supreme, living in 12 homes during her 40 years in Albuquerque. Her last residence was at La Vida Llena where she was the "Social Butterfly." She was a life master bridge player, a cosmetologist, Welcome Wagon hostess, and golf-player extraordinaire. Lucille was a member of Hoffmantown Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Rob Mahon officiating.
