91, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, and brother, was called to his Eternal resting place on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. He entered this world on Thursday, August 28, 1930, in Marion, TX, born to Domingo and Maria Torres. Lucas was preceded in death by parents, Domingo and Maria Torres; sister, Alicia Munoz; brother, Jesse Torres; and wife of 63 years, Betty Torres. He is survived by his brother, Domingo Torres Jr.; spouse, Aurora Montoya; daughter, Betty Ann Vallejos and Alvin; daughter, Mary Constancia and Ralph; daughter, Bertha Torres; son, Luke Torres and Susan Montgomery; grandson, Luke Montoya and Monica; grandson, James L. Chavez and Jennifer; grandson, Ralph F. Constancia and Tausha; granddaughter, Amanda Trujillo and Lawrence; great-granddaughter, Samantha Montoya; and great-grandsons, Carson Constancia, Jarrett Montoya, Lawrence Jr., Diego, and Isaac Trujillo. Lucas served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked at Duke City Lumber and bartended on the weekends. He enjoyed dancing at the senior centers and playing pool. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 9:00 a.m., Memorial Service, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH-University. Followed by a Graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Reception to be held after.
