MONTOYA, LOVELLA LAVINIA
Our beloved Aunt "Lovy" passed away peacefully on July 16, 2012, at age 86. Lovella was born in Pena Blanca, NM. She is survived by her sister, Lillie Montoya; brother, Gerald Montoya; nieces, Geri Moya, Cia Arias, Margaret Brandt; nephews, Ed Montoya, Steve Montoya and Dan Montoya; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Nephews Alfred Moya and Robert Arias thoughtfully assisted Lovy in her later years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmundo and Margarita (Baca) Montoya; brother, Alban Montoya; and sister, Isabel Montoya Cheney. Lovella was retired from Sandia National Laboratories and enjoyed traveling, being active and spending time with friends and family. Lovella was a long-time parishioner at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church and was a daily communicant. Rosary will be recited Monday, July 23, 2012, 8:00 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial following at 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 2621 Vermont NE, followed by a reception. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Aunt Lovy will be greatly missed but we will all rest comfortable in the knowledge that she has been welcomed into Heaven with our Savior's open arms.
