Louise Thomas

Louise Thomas, age 82, a beloved Spouse, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and Aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on April 9, 2025.

Louise was born on February 5,1943, in Ganado, Arizona, to her loving parents, Clara and Joe Slim. She lived a life rooted in love, family, Navajo tradition, and faith. Louise was known for her artistic jewelry skills, unwavering strength, and love she held for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Larry Totsoni; and her children and grandchildren: Billy Begay, Serphina Thomas, Selina Keryte, Cornelius A. Slim, Sophia Totsoni, Sylvanus Totsoni, Jerome Totsoni, and Zachariah V. Totsoni. Louise's presence brought warmth and comfort to all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Lomas. A Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Mother of Mankind Church in St. Michaels, Arizona, with burial to take place at St. Michaels Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Slim, Patrick L. Keryte, Rudy Begay, Jarvis Totsoni, Cory Slim, Berlando Smith, and Arnoldson Woodman Jr.

Louise's life was a blessing to many, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate to know her.
