LOUISE SAIZ ALVARADOAge 93, Louise Saiz Alvarado passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny P. Alvarado Jr. of Albuquerque, NM; Loving son, Richard Lancaster and partner Carolyn Dreshum of Oklahoma City, OK; Loving daughter, Eileen and husband John Tuleja of Albuquerque, NM; Granddaughters Lisa Tuleja, Jennifer Davis and husband Johnny, Rachel Sparrow and husband David and Ericka Fairclough and husband Steve. She is also survived by great- grandchildren Tanner Seymour, Jordan and Brayden Davis and Eleanor and Callum Fairclough; Brother, Emiliano Saiz of Albuquerque, NM; and sisters Charlotte Ortiz of Santa Fe and Edna Baca of Albuquerque; Dear friends Ottis and Edna Hand of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was retired from the Dept. of Energy after serving 32 years. Louise and her husband and children were stationed in Europe for several years before returning to settle down in Albuquerque. Louise liked going on family cruises and especially to casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Laughlin. She also loved fishing and taking trips with friends. She especially enjoyed doing crossword puzzles every day even mastering the most difficult ones. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We would like to especially thank her in-home caregiver's (nurse) Beth and (CNA) Bernice and (social worker) Collin as well as Dr. Joy Lovette with Vista Care Hospice for their dedication and support in making Louise comfortable in the last months of her life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 5600 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87109-3412. Cremation has taken place and there will be a mass at Gate of Heaven, 7999 Wyoming NE on Saturday, September 22nd at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jerry officiating. May she rest in peace with the Lord in Eternal Heaven and her spirit will be within our hearts forever.
