Louis L. Lucero, Sr., 60, beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend was called home to our Lord, Jesus Christ on July 8, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Louis was born on June 26, 1956 in Waco, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Francisco (Frank) Lucero and Epimenia (Pime) Lucero.
He is survived by his son Louis Lucero Jr. and daughter-in-law Alicia and their daughters Ashleigh, Marisa and Analise; daughter Brenda Lucero-Ortiz and son-in-law Ray and their children, Serena, Angelina, and Jeremy; daughter Melanie Lucero; step-children, Michelle Hill, Patricia Olmstead, Carlos Jimenez, and Valerie Standridge, and 20 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Rael and Ida Lucero as well as brother Eddie Lucero, and numerous nieces and nephews.
His laughter, loving and generous nature and willingness to help anyone in need will be missed by many extended family and friends.
A Visitation will be held Monday, July 11, 2016, starting 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming; followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday, July 12, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family will be receiving visitors following the burial at the home of his son Louis Lucero Jr.
