Louis Jancula, 91, passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2021.
He was born in Brackenridge, PA to Stephen and Josephine Jancula. Louis served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, retiring in Albuquerque. He then worked for Ed Black’s Chevrolet and retired in 1998. He was an avid golfer and a member of both the Albuquerque Seniors and New Mexico Seniors golf associations. He was an active member of The Shrine of St. Bernadette, serving in many ministries.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; one granddaughter; and one stepson. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia; his children, Lee Jancula, Jeff Jancula and wife Debbie, Vaune Jancula and husband Greg Fischer, Marc Jancula, Julie Reeves and husband David; stepchildren, Michael Aja and Michele Aja; sister, Irene Glowacki; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
A Rosary/Vigil Service will be recited on Thursday, June 17, 2021, 7:00 p.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette. A Celebration Mass will be Friday, June 18, 2021, 11:30 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
