Louie Carrillo

In loving memory of Louie Carrillo, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather who passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. Louie was born on May 22, 1931, in Albuquerque, NM, and was married to his beloved wife, Consuelo Carrillo for 67 years.

Louie excelled in his career as a commercial painter, displaying intricate mastery in his craft. His passion for baking and a good sense of humor endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Louie's favorite pass time was fishing and spending time in the outdoors and his love of nature.

A man of dedication and commitment, Louie will be missed by all. His legacy and family members are his wife, Connie; children, Angela Ortiz, Lou Carrillo, Timothy Carrillo, Vincent Carrillo, Yvonne Escandon, Benjamin Carrillo,  Lee Carrillo, and his deceased beloved daughter Lydia Carrillo; his 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; his sister, Isabel Martinez ,and his deceased sister, Dorothy Anderson; his brothers, Albert, Tom, Ray Carrillo, and his deceased brothers, David and Martin Carrillo; his deceased parents, Joe E and Lucy Carrillo; and many more whose lives he touched.  The funeral ceremonies to honor Louie's memory include a Visitation on Thursday, May 16, 2024, 6:30 pm, followed by Rosary At FRENCH-Lomas. 

A Mass in remembrance of Louie will take place on May 17, 2024, at 10:00 am, at The Shrine of Saint Bernadette Catholic Church, 11509 Indian School Rd NE, 87112. Louie will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Louie Carrillo's legacy of hard work, humor, and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him. May his soul rest in peace.
