TRUJILLO, LORENZO
Age 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Friday, August 31, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Romie Trujillo of Albuquerque; daughter, Anna Archuleta of Columbus, OH; grandson, Gabriel Solomon of Columbus, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joaquin Gonzales and wife, Romana, Dominica Sanchez and husband, Ralph, and Delphino Gonzales and wife, Lila; nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. Lorenzo was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Reyes Trujillo; and four brothers. He was born in 1922 in Cuervo, NM and graduated from Santa Rosa High School. After high school, he entered the United States Army where he proudly served during WWII, retiring 27 years later. He was a longtime member of St. Edwin's Catholic Church and currently a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Lorenzo loved gardening, going to garage sales and was a collector of bottle openers and bottles. He was the sweetest man who ever lived, liked by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m. with a Memorial Mass following at 9:00 a.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW.
