Lorene A. Brown

Lorene A. Brown, age 69, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She is survived by her sisters, Cindy Brown, Laura Daley, and Lucinda Brown; brother, Lester Brown; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, Mary T. and Sydney Brown; her brother, Leroy Brown; and her sister, Lucille Brown. She was born at the Albuquerque  Indian  School Hospital in 1947 and graduated from Valley High School. Lorene worked for over 30 years at General Electric Aerospace until her retirement. She enjoyed the outdoors, travelling, winter skiing, and anything to do with jazz. Lorene also entered and won several pool competitions in Las Vegas, NV and Albuquerque. She was a loving and generous sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Mission Church in Ganado, AZ on Saturday, April 22, 2017, 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lorene's name to St. Michaels Mission Church, 24 Mission Rd., St. Michael's, AZ, 86511.
