Loma Anita Austin
October 25, 1929 — May 9, 2016
Loma Austin, 86, beloved mother, grandparent and friend, passed away at her home in Albuquerque on Monday, May 9, 2016. Loma was devoted to her church and her family and always enjoyed a challenging game of bridge. She was married to Arnold Austin for 58 years and had missed him every moment since his passing in 2003.
Loma is survived by her children, Charles E. Austin (Kelly) and Beverly Austin (Don Spinar); her grandchildren, Joshua Austin (Ranee), Ashley Kelemen (Brian) and Zachary Blume (Holly), and her great-grandsons, Kai Walterscheid and Charles K. Austin. She also leaves behind cherished nieces, a nephew and too many wonderful friends to name.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:30 p.m., at Paradise Hills United Methodist Church, 4700 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, where she and Arnold had been faithful members since 1985. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Hills UMC at the above address.
