Lois Geneve McDonald, our beloved mother, decided that her cherished husband of 67 years had been running around heaven too long without her. She went to join him in that heavenly choir on Thursday, June 2, 2016. She had suffered from Alzheimer's disease, which took this strong and independent woman from us several years ago, but she always retained that loving mother's smile.
She was born in Delphos, Iowa in 1924 to Arlene Geiger and Doyle Reynolds. Lois was the eldest of five children: Cloris Morris (deceased), Norma Jeanne Robinson, and the twins, Lavonne Seals and Larry Reynolds (deceased). She and her husband, Robert McDonald had two children; Robbyn Scriven and Kevin McDonald; four grandchildren, Katherine Scriven, Robert Scott Scriven, Derek McDonald, and Tyler McDonald. For all that knew them it was always "Bob and Lois". Now she has gone to join her one and only. All is right again. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Lois will be missed but has gone to a far better place. Peace be with you Mom. Friends may visit Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will take place at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
