Lois Long, age 93, beloved mother and wife, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. She entered this world on Tuesday, February 9, 1926 in Huntington, IN, born to Joseph and Velma Dow. She moved to Danville, IL around 1930, where she remained until 2012. She married Wilber Long in 1951 and helped him run Long's Phillips 66 Service Station on Vermilion St. for many years. In 2012, she moved to Albuquerque, NM to stay with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Manley; son-in-law, Kenneth Manley; 2 granddaughters, Sarah (Bob) Mesler and Andrea (Matt) Thompson; 2 great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Henry; sister-in-law, Dorothy Dow; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside.
