Liz Hinga

Age 75, passed away March 25, 2014 after battling cancer. She is survived by her son, Mark B. Hinga, Ph.D. P.E. ; her sister, Virginia; her brother, Francis; and many friends. Liz was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved friend, Aunt Reba. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Liz went to nursing school in NW Texas where she earned her RN. She worked as a nurse for 17 years in many patient care settings and then for 16 years as a medical administrator for the State of Colorado. Liz was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She loved writing and some of her short stories and poems were published in The Prairie Times in Colorado. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, April 3, 2014, 4:00 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd NE.
