Lindsey Sara Martin

August 20, 1982 — March 26, 2014

Lindsey Sara Martin, age 31, was born in Rawlins, WY August 20, 1982. Lindsey went to be with the Angels peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 surrounded by her family. 31 years ago, they were given this beautiful gift, and on Wednesday, her family by her side, she was lovingly given back to the Lord. She is survived by her loving parents, father, Chuck Martin; mother, Christine Martin; brother, Sean Martin; and the love of her life, her dog Rocky. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Karen and (The Hammer) Greg Arrants of Albuquerque, NM, Kevin Fitzpatrick of Long Beach CA, Michael and Missy Fitzpatrick of Conover, NC, Jakie and Richard Lewis of Gettysburg PA, Greg and Naoma Martin of Hopatcong NJ, Gayle Martin of Albuquerque NM, and Marty Martin of Superior, WY. She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Florence Fitzpatrick, James Fitzpatrick, Charlene and Claude Martin, and James and Dorothy Fitzpatrick. Lindsey has a large loving family who through the eight years of battling her colon cancer surrounded her with love and prayers and anything she needed. This was always a great comfort for her, she loved you all. Lindsey graduated Del Norte H.S. in 2000 and went on to attend classes at the University of New Mexico, CNN community college, and bartender academy. She went on to work in banking, retail, and the food service industry. Lindsey is remembered by her family and friends as a compassionate, loving, kind and caring woman, whose motto was, "Creating the life I want to live, one day at a time." Her favorite quote was "Happiness is the most important thing in the world, without it you have a life of Depression". (Marilyn Monroe). Lindsey, you touched so many lives that you didn't even realize the impact you had and the legacy of your pureness on people. Lindsey, we made you a Promise of Paradise, and the Lord kept that Promise for you. We love you and are all better people because of you. Fly with your wings and smile as your Angel Dust sprinkles upon us, Your Loving Family, Mom and Dad, Sean. Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sean Martin, Greg Arrants, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Greg Martin, Richard Lewis, and Jimmy Ng. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Fitzpatrick. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at UNM Cancer Center for giving us eight more years with our daughter; it meant the world to us. We would also like to thank Hospice for the great care at the end; it was very comforting for the family. FRENCH - Wyoming 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
