Linda (Bostick) Spellins

Linda Spellins (Bostick), age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She died peacefully at Bosque Trails Assisted Living where she had been a resident for almost a year.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Larry Spellins; her parents, Grace and Clem Bostick; sisters, Ann and Evadne Bostick; and her brother, Royce Bostick.

She is survived by her son, Jeff and his wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Nicki, Taylor and her wife, Mireya, Cristian, Jordan and his wife, Madison and Jett; great-grandchild, Gabe; brother, Leon and wife, Shirley; and numerous nieces, nephews

Linda was born in Lubbock, moving to Albuquerque in her late teens and finally settling with her husband Larry in Dallas. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 35 years, working her way up to Chief Systems Analyst serving several years in that position before retirement.

Linda will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
