Lily Hilger

Lily Hilger, age 76, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on Friday, January 24, 2020. She was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1943 in Nha Trang, South Vietnam.

Lily was preceded by her son, Dwayne Hilger.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Hilger; sons, Chas Hilger, Tom Hilger, John Hilger, and Rich Hilger; daughter, Lynn Pham; Chas’s family members, Denise Hilger, Zack and Krista Saadi, Nick Saadi, and Jake Saadi, Tom’s family members, Patty Hilger, Nolan Hilger, Olivia Hilger, and Quinn Hilger, John’s significant other, Crystal Walton; Rich’s family members, significant other, Janine Hudson, Mariya Hilger and Sean Torres, Isaac Hilger, Alyssa Hilger; Lynn’s family members, Leslie and William Collishaw, Long and Denise Pham, Thao Pham, Candice Hilger, Kyle Hilger; and great-grandchildren, Xavier Hilger, Mark Saadi, and Tristan Torres.

Lily was an active volunteer with the Knights of Columbus and her community. She loved cooking for her family, playing cards with family and friends, bingo, and traveling to distant family members.

A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 30, 2020, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside followed by visitation and refreshments. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH – Westside.

Interment will take place on Friday, January 31, 2020, at the Gate of Heaven Garden Mausoleum. Those who wish to attend the burial may follow in the procession from FRENCH - Westside (departure time will be following the memorial service).

Pallbearer’s are family members: Chas, Tom, John, Rich, and Isaac Hilger, Sean Torres, William Collishaw. Honorary Pallbearer’s are Israel Salinas, Marty Cantu, Jim Lewis, Lou Black, Ray Chavez, Richard Espinosa, John Brault, and Cliff Cizan.
