Lillian Roybal

October 23, 1943 — February 5, 2013

ROYBAL, LILLIAN V.
Age 69, on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, our Lillian went home to be with the Lord much to our sadness. Lillian was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born and raised in Albuquerque. Lillian was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Roybal, Jr.; parents, Eloy and Jessie Zamora; and brother, Louie. God has opened the heavens and with gladness he has embraced her. She is rejoicing with her heavenly family for she is now home. We ask that you pray for Lillian and her family for we have been left broken-hearted. Lillian loved life and was a new member of Poker Keno, which she enjoyed immensely along with her bingo. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jimmy; her one and only Hita, Doreen and husband, Paul. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Regina and Nic. She had one brother, Eloy (Gee Gee) and wife, Tomie; and one sister, Juanita. Lillian also had many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was also a special Auntie Mama, which was her title her young niece Lynda had given her. The rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 14, 2013, 6:00 p.m., at St. Therese of the Little Flower Parish, 300 Mildred Ave NW. Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 15, 2013, 9:00 a.m., at St. Therese of the Little Flower Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gina Trujillo, Nic Martinez, Lynda Griego, Jess Zamora, Luceya Griego, Danny Roybal, Mark Roybal and Mateo Maldonado. Please visit our online guest book for Lillian at .
