Lezlie Ann Rayner, 63, of Cedar Crest, New Mexico, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2017, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Lezlie was born in El Paso, Texas to Inis Geraldine Boney and Kenneth Lee Abrams on February 9, 1953. She went to school at Bel Air High School in El Paso, Texas. She married Bob Rayner on November 9, 1974, in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Midland Junior College with an Associate's Degree. She worked as a paralegal and a Right of Way agent for an oil and gas company. Lezlie is survived by her husband, Bob Rayner; her sister, Marsha Watson; and four children, Angela Jones (47), Anna Coulter (45), Robbe Addis (45), and Jenny Royer (43); and her eight grandchildren.
She was very active in her church and loved teaching the two-year-old Sunday school class. Lezlie was given a gift by God to encourage and counsel others, and she touched everyone she met. In her spare time, she enjoyed daily bible devotions, traveling with her husband, and had found new joy in hiking with family in Cedar Crest, NM. She loved Pinterest and enjoyed trying new recipes. She collected music boxes and crosses and also enjoyed spending time with her precious dog, Goldie. Lezlie was deeply devoted to working with the River of Mercies orphanage in Mexico.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at City Church 5300 2nd Street NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
