Lewis Walter Hake, age 76, beloved husband, son, father, and brother was called to his eternal resting place on Monday, May 29th, 2023. He entered this world on August 7th, 1946, in Kansas City, KS born to Lewis and Shirley Hake. He was the oldest of four children. He is survived by his sister, Peggy McCarthy; brother, Sherwood Hake; and preceded in death by his sister, Shaney Hake.

He was a 1964 graduate of Sandia High School where soon after he enlisted in the Marines and served his country from 1964-1968 in the Alpha North, Battery A, 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment earning a Vietnam Service Medal, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal and Bronze Star Medal "V" for heroism in combat.

Lewis leaves to cherish his memory, wife Kathyrn Hake and children from former marriages, Stacey Castillo, Scott Hake, Fagen Hake, and their extended families.
