It is with great sadness, but also with great joy, we share the passing of Leslie Howard White, who passed on February 10, 2022.
Leslie was born on August 19, 1939, in Las Vegas, NM. He served our country in the US Army. He was a skilled electrician who in later years became a master in many trades. He had an amazing, creative mind and could build almost anything from scratch. Despite these talents, Leslie was first a strong Christian man who put God first and loved his fellow man with unconditional love. Next in importance to Leslie was his family. He was a devoted husband and father who raised his children with love, honesty, and dignity.
He also truly loved being a grandfather (Papa) and loved all his grandchildren unconditionally. Leslie is survived by his wife, Joan; sons, James (Amy) and Gregory (Mona) White; grandchildren, Michaela Forehand (husband Jon Saari), Paul White (wife Tanya), Marcus Jones, Patrick Jones, Bailee White, Katherine White, Monica White and Tessa White; and great-grandchildren, Lily Sarri and one on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Harold (wife Bernie); sister, Linda (husband Jim) Pearcey, sister, Sherron (husband Blake) Denhart; and brother-in-law, Jim Findley. Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alice; and sister, Kathy Findley.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
