Leslie LaVigne

Age 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, passed away on February 8, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Michael of Albuquerque, NM, and Paul (Tammy) of Montana City, MT; grandchildren Sorrel Brigman (Travis) of Nashville, TN, Bridger LaVigne of Helena, MT, Cameron LaVigne, and Brady LaVigne both of Albuquerque; brothers, Tom Dawson of Boulder, MT, and Drew Dawson of Bethesda, MD. Mrs. LaVigne was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Nifty Dawson, and a sister, Janet Beth Dawson. Mrs. LaVigne worked as a secretary at various locations in Albuquerque, including; UNM Medical School Library, UNM General Library, Jacobs Engineering, and Presbyterian Health Plan. Her interests included volunteering at PACA Pet Adoption Center, and exercising at Curves. She was very caring person, she was feisty and fun. She loved her sons, her pets, and adored her grandchildren. She was beautiful. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at FRENCH - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, from 6pm to 8pm. Interment will take place in Montana this summer. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to an animal welfare organization of the person's choice.
