On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, Leslie "Buzz" Coleman, beloved Father, Husband, Brother, and Grandfather, passed away at the age of 73. He was born December 4, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL, born to Leslie and Bernadine Coleman. Buzz, as he was known to his friends and family was a US army veteran and retired US Postal Worker. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, fixing things, cooking, baking, watching movies and documentaries and spoiling his children and grandchildren. He was a lover of history and politics. He will be remembered as a hardworking husband, father, and grandfather who fought for the rights of others. He was a social justice warrior who was proud to be an active voter and citizen of the United States. He was greatly impacted by labor unions both growing up and in his own career. He fought for the rights of workers as a labor union officer in honor of his own father and the rights of workers everywhere. The birth of his children were major events in his life! He was forever changed by his role as a father which he took very seriously. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Denny Coleman and sister Sandra Coleman. He is survived by his daughter Shelley Camilli; daughter Lesley Kirk; wife Alberta Coleman; sister Sissy Coleman; brother Barry Coleman; sister Diane Knyff; sister Leona Rodriquez; sister Laura Mehrtens; brother Joe Coleman; son-in-law Andrew Kirk; granddaughter Jacqueline Kirk; granddaughter Brooke Kirk; grandson James Kirk; son-in-law David Camilli; granddaughter Amy Camilli; granddaughter Ashley Camilli; granddaughter Carly Camilli. Services will be held at The Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church, 2309 Monterrey Road NE, Rio Rancho, NM at 10 AM on January 15. The services will consist of a viewing and a full mass followed by a gathering at the home of Shelley Coleman Camilli.

Of a man as a man, regardless of his birth.
Nor what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with words of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?

But how many were sorry when he passed away?
