Leroy Montgomery Thomas

Leroy Montgomery Thomas, 67, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours, Wednesday, July 4, 2018, from natural causes. Leroy was born in Albuquerque on September 10, 1950. He worked in the electrical communication industry but was mostly known to be a proud Marine. He served his country honorably including time in Vietnam. He continued his patriotism by being an active member of the American Legion - Post 49 where he had many like-minded friends. He is survived by his nephew, Joshua B. Boggs; who is active duty Navy, and his niece Ashley D. Berlint of Las Cruces, NM. Leroy is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth L. Guynn and brother, Hyman J. Berlint. Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
