LeRoy C. Bowen

LeRoy C. Bowen, 74 of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. He was born on February 20, 1941 to Chester J. and Mary (Turnbull) Bowen in Millville, NJ. He attended Atlantic County Community College and later served in the United States Air Force. He married Deborah A. Tacka on August 17, 1974 in Millville, NJ. He worked for Owens-Illinois Glass for 25 years as a payroll specialist and later worked as a tour bus driver in New Jersey and in New Mexico. LeRoy is survived by his wife Deborah of Albuquerque, three sons: Daniel B. and his fiancAC. Brandy Marrs, Robert W. Bowen and his wife Rebecca of Rio Rancho, and Randy B. Bowen of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Chance William Bowen and Aurora JoAnn Bowen. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Lillian Springer and Hilda Allen. Memorial services will be held at Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society,.cancer.org or to Walkin N Circles Ranch, for horse rescues, wncr.org or to a favorite charity to benefit animals and pets.
