Leo Torres

Torres, Leo Age 64, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Liz Wright; daughter, Erika Torres; grandchildren, Matthew Torres and girlfriend (Jasmin), and Jessica Trujillo; brother-in-law, Joseph Wright whom he considered just like a son; his dog, Chloe; sister, Lillian Ortega and husband, Daniel; brother Robert Torres and wife, Laura; and special aunts and uncles Virginia and Dewey Buck and Cathy and Gillie Castillo. He was known for his good humor and his famous biscochitos, which he generously gave away. As per Leo's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, 5:00 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW. A reception dinner will follow at the Knights of Columbus, 3301 Mountain Rd. NW. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to their favorite charity.
