Lena Nelsen

Lena Nelsen, 93, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on August 7, 2015. She entered this world on July 11, 1922 in Greenville Township, IL, born to Harry and Cassie Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ernest Nelsen. She is survived by her children Melody Garduno and husband Tony, Monica Pardo and husband Elias and stepson Mike Carpenter and wife Diane. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jason and Ann Gleason, Heather and Matt Demers, Ryan and Christy Sturgill, Stephen Sturgill, Aaron Sturgill, Cassie and Sean Williams, Jeffrey Sturgill, April and Martin Liltorp, Mike Jr and Dawn Carpenter, Casi and Matthew Costner, Shana and Andy Wyns, and several great grandchildren. Lena was a much loved foster grandparent with the Foster Grandparent program in Los Lunas, NM for over 20 years. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
