Leland Robert Jones

Leland Jones, 91, beloved Father and Grandfather, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1963, passed peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023, Memorial Day. He is survived by daughter, Deborah Repp, and husband, David, of Albuquerque; Son, Dean Jones, and wife, Jenipher, of Albuquerque; Grandson, David J (DJ) Repp, and wife, Sara; Granddaughter, Stephanie Repp, and husband Shaun; Grandson, Michael Repp; Granddaughter, Kristina Robinson, and husband, Jacob; and Granddaughter, Nicole Jones.
Lee was a proud 20-year veteran of the US Air Force where he achieved the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Following his distinguished military service, he had a second career in various aspects of the retail and wholesale grocery business across New Mexico. He and his wife, Pat (preceded in death on March 29, 2014), embraced the RV lifestyle, traveling across North America as Good Sam Club Ambassadors.
When he finally fully retired, he was Grandpa, a good friend to the Albertson's "coffee crowd", though he didn't drink coffee, and an avid wild bird lover.
A graveside service with full military honors will take place at Sunset Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 12:00 noon, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife of 54 years.
