Lee Osburn

• Lee Dale Osburn, 95, was born October 28, 1929, in Maple, Oklahoma, the son of Jesse J. Osburn and Pearl Bigfeather raised on the family farm with his nine brothers, passed away January 2, 2025. Lee started his adventurous life by joining the United States Air Force at the young age of 16 following his older brothers footsteps who joined the military. After basic training in San Antonio, TX he was stationed in Ohau, HI in 1947 then transferred to Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM in 1949 where he met his future wife, Josephine Ann Vigil (May 8, 1928-2010) and were married for 60 years. Lee and JoAnn happily raised three children, Joanna Osburn Bigfeather, John Cameron Osburn, and Sharon Lynn Osburn and were proud grandparents of Renee Osburn Ortiz, Alexis Osburn, and Chase Osburn.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
