Lea (M.) Rost

Lea M. Rost, 96, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022. Lea was known for being a devout Christian and prayer warrior. She loved the Lord with her whole being and thanked him every day for all her blessings.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Gayle Sowa (Pete) and Debra Layne Velarde (Bob), grandchildren, Ariane Hookman (Aaron), Alexis Kirschner (Jonathan), Bryn Sowa, Bari Sowa, Lauren Velarde, and Chase Velarde; and great-grandchildren, Devon and Gresham Sowa, Skylar and Finn McKenzie, and Claire Kirschner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don L. Rost.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH-University with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
