Lawrence (Larry) Anthony SeylLawrence (Larry) Anthony Seyl of Rio Rancho, NM passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Lawrence was born on July 5, 1947 to the late Florence Theresa and Lincoln Steven Seyl in Highland Park, IL. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, MaryLou; son, David and wife, Guru Niyam Seyl and grandchildren, Evelyn and Travis Seyl of Roseville, CA; son, Michael and wife, Meagan Seyl of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Shirley Spalding of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Stephen and wife, Gayle Seyl of Bainbridge Island, WA; brother, Daniel and wife, Karen Seyl of Port Angeles, WA; brother-in-law, Gary Lessard of Cedar Crest, NM; mother-in-law, Geraldine Lessard of Cedar Crest, NM; and many nieces and nephews. Lawrence was preceded in death by his sister, Julia Denyse Smiley; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Kveton. He attended Parochial and Albuquerque Public Schools, and Central New Mexico Community College. Lawrence was employed and retired from Albuquerque Public Schools Maintenance and Operations Department. He served in the US Navy as a Machinist's Mate from 1967 to 1969. Memorial Services for Lawrence will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:30 am at French-University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd NE. Interment, with military honors, will follow at 1:30 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family would like to thank Ambercare Hospice for their dedicated care during his illness. Lawrence will be greatly missed by all.
