Laura Jane Royce

A longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the age of 76. Jane was born on June 26, 1938 in Clay Center, KS, the daughter of Howard and Ethel Clark. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Jane dedicated her life to her family. She helped care for multiple generations of family members, including her parents, children, and grandchildren; as well as, many others. She was always happy to lend a helping hand when needed, often putting others needs before her own. She is survived by her sons, Anson Royce and wife, Wendy of Albuquerque, and Morgan Royce and wife, Nicole Custer, of Albuquerque; five cherished grandchildren, Ashley Martin and husband, Simon, of Rogers, AR, Christopher Royce, Josh Royce, Lauren Custer, and Kindell Custer of Albuquerque; and sister, Joan Demeritt of Reno, NV. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jevene Ginder of Kingsland, TX. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlise Boulevard SE. A Reception to celebrate her life for friends and family will be held following the service.
